Rebecca’s journey began in the year 2000 when a yoga class in San Francisco ignited a curiosity about the mind/body connection and our body’s natural ability to heal itself. She spent the next 8 years immersed in education for various modalities but was specifically drawn to the healing qualities found in Restorative Yoga (Yin Yoga), Vinyasa, Meditation, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Esalen Massage, and Holistic Nutrition. In 2008 she began her own practice as a Bodyworker in a private studio in Greenpoint Brooklyn, offering her signature style of Restorative Yoga, Flow Bodywork, and Mind/Body Awareness to great success and quickly accumulated a full-time client base of mostly referrals and repeat clients. After 6 years of dedication, she expanded her studio to a team of 7 to keep up with scheduling demands. She took on the role of mentor and educator and eventually moved her now team of 10 to a larger more impressive space in a renovated 100 year old church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She went on to train and mentor dozens of Bodyworkers who continue today to achieve great success using her Signature Techniques and sees herself now and always a student of Holistic Health. Rebecca is honored to have created space for thousands of precious bodies to refresh, revive, and in many instances heal from trauma and believes it is ultimately the service to others that brings the greatest fulfillment.

In her time off you can find Rebecca exploring the California landscape, playing drums, or furthering her holistic studies.

May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all
